From October 15 to 19, Pingyuan Zhenghao Machinery met with customers and prospective partners at the Canton Fair to discuss their CNC workholding and toolholding needs.
The five-day event gave our team the opportunity to reconnect with existing customers and meet new buyers from Brazil, India, Europe and other regions. Conversations focused on the products customers use every day—including precision CNC vises, tool holders and collets—as well as the practical questions that shape a purchasing decision: specifications, application suitability, pricing, quality checks, packaging and delivery.
One memorable moment was the on-site sale of a small vise to a customer from Serbia. More importantly, the fair helped us begin conversations with buyers whose requirements we can now review in greater detail after the exhibition.
For many visitors, choosing a vise or tool holder is not simply a matter of comparing prices. The product must fit the machine, hold the workpiece or cutting tool correctly, and suit the intended machining operation.
At the booth, our team discussed questions such as:
Which vise size and clamping configuration suit a customer’s workpiece?
What information is needed to select a compatible tool holder?
Which collet size matches the tool shank and holder?
How do product specifications and order quantities affect a quotation?
What packaging or documentation does the buyer need for their market?
These face-to-face discussions helped us understand each customer’s application before recommending a product or preparing a price. They also gave visitors a closer look at the products and an opportunity to raise technical questions directly with our team.
Our conversations at the fair covered three important product groups.
Precision CNC vises attracted buyers looking for workholding solutions for milling and other machining operations. Visitors discussed vise dimensions, clamping structure, workpiece suitability and the options available for different machine setups. Our GT series modular precision CNC vises were among the workholding products we introduced to customers.
For tool holders, buyers were particularly interested in matching the holder to their machine interface and cutting application. Confirming the spindle standard, holder type and tool dimensions is an essential step before quoting or ordering.
For collets, discussions centered on size selection and compatibility with the corresponding holder and cutting-tool shank. Small differences in specifications can matter, so our team encouraged buyers to share the relevant dimensions rather than relying on a product name alone.

The Canton Fair was valuable not only because customers could see the products, but because we could discuss how an order would work in practice.
During the exhibition, customers asked about product prices, order quantities, samples and future supply. Where an inquiry required more detail, our team exchanged contact information with the buyer so we could continue the discussion after the fair. This allows us to confirm specifications, clarify quantities and prepare a quotation based on the customer’s actual requirements.
Our on-site transaction with a customer from Serbia, who purchased a small vise, was a welcome result of these conversations. It also reinforced the value of meeting buyers in person: they can inspect a product, ask questions and make a purchasing decision with greater confidence.
Overseas customers need more than a suitable product specification. They also want to understand how an order will be checked, packed and prepared for shipment.
At the fair, we discussed these requirements as part of the sourcing process. Depending on the product and order, buyers may need to confirm:
Quality checks: Which dimensions, appearance requirements and functional points need to be checked before shipment?
Packaging: Does the order require standard export packaging, individual product packaging or customer-specific labels?
Shipment details: How will quantities, cartons and product identification be confirmed?
Documentation and certification: Does the buyer’s market or purchasing process require a particular document or certificate?
We believe these questions should be answered against the exact product and order, rather than through a general promise that every item has the same certification or packaging arrangement. Customers are welcome to share their requirements when requesting a quotation so our team can check what is applicable and available.
As a manufacturer of machine tool accessories, Zhenghao Machinery understands that effective export service depends on communication between the customer-facing team and the production side.
When buyers ask about a vise’s structure, a tool holder’s compatibility or a collet’s dimensions, our role is to gather the right information, review the relevant product specifications and respond clearly. The same applies to questions about order configuration, inspection requirements and packaging.
This process is especially important for customers sourcing several product categories at once. By discussing their machining application and purchasing requirements early, we can help reduce specification mistakes and make subsequent quotation and order communication more efficient.
The Canton Fair has ended, but many of the most important conversations are now moving to the next stage.
Our team is following up with customers we met during the event to confirm product models, specifications, quantities and quotation requirements. We also look forward to continuing our work with existing customers and building new relationships with buyers from the markets we connected with at the fair.
We thank everyone who visited us, examined our products and shared their requirements. Whether you are looking for a CNC vise, tool holder, collet or a combination of machine tool accessories, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your application.
To request a quotation, please send us your machine model, required product, key dimensions, quantity and any packaging or documentation requirements. This information will help our team provide a more relevant response.
